Hostel Vegetable Garden

Goats ate the last vegetable garden!

FOA has paid for the garden to be fenced, bought garden tools and hoses and fertilizer, and seeds for the vegetables. At present the garden is producing Spinach, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Mealies (Corn), Carrots.

Vegetables are sold, thereby providing some income as well as given to local residents of the Hostel. Work on the garden is carried out by Ernest Langa who initiated the project and who ensures the ongoing maintenance and success of the project.
