Goats ate the last vegetable garden!

This center cares for, feeds and clothes 300 HIV AIDS orphans or vulnerable children on a daily basis.

This is a fund raising initiative of FOA. Through this program we raised R60,000.

This is a project financed by Investec Bank and run under the auspices of NOAH (Nurturing Orphans of Aids for Humanity).

We currently sponsor three orphans further education and development.

We have now completed the construction work on the crèche located at Nambuhla Hostel.

This project is run at Nambuhla Hostel. The ladies make beadwork and wire bowls from telephone wire.

Our Under 14 Soccer team of boys from the township was entered into a league last year instead of just playing "friendly" matches, and they now compete on a formalised basis in an "Under 14 League".

Due to lack of funds Friends of Alexandra provides financial assistance for special events for this organization.

From time to time Friends of Alexandra is approached to assist financially or materially when a disaster such as fire or floods occur in Alexandra township.

As many visitors to Alexandra are moved by what they see and frequently ask the question "How can we help?"
