Mkhonto XI Soccer TeamFOA has bought the kit and boots for all the boys as well as paid all the fees associated with their participation in the league. The kit was bought through the "Greenfields project" an initiative started to develop grassroots soccer. A group of Swedish Businessmen and Women who were attending Gordon Institute of Business Science Development program, under the leadership of one of the group Martin Lindstrom have been the major contributors to the team. The ongoing costs of running the team are likely to be in excess of R30000 per annum. |
